    Actually this isn't very weird. Japan has a lot of different flavored american snacks that are marketed to suit their culture. Japan also goes by seasons. So for candy like kit kat bars in fall you could get flavors like blood orange and chocolate, spring cherry flavor etc. It's actually pretty good :D.
